Anyone have an opinion on time needed to rebuild/repair the causeway destroyed by Hurricane Ian? Will they nit use the little islands as anchors this time? Those were money makers for Lee County. Selfish inquiry as my mother is 96yrs old and Sanibel resident

The same goes for gas. I burn more than a gallon of gas per day but drink less than a gallon of bottled water. There is certainly a higher supply of water but gas is cheaper because there is more demand which supports the higher volume infrastructure.
Wow there is so much poor logic here I don't know where to start.

Water is orders of magnitude cheaper than gasoline. If you are paying more for your water than your gasoline then you are paying for something else. Be it perceived prestige, convenience or whatever.

The demand, consumption and availability of supply of water is vastly higher than that of gasoline. Hence we have developed piped infrastructure to most residences. I don't see piped gasoline to residences in most areas of the world.

He is talking about bottled water, which I think should be a controlled substance. Plastic bottles are terrible for the environment, and unlike fuel, bottled water is unnecessary.
