Scia engineer seismic design

We started to use Scia Engineer in our office..and beside very powerful modelling capabilities we are facing dificulties regarding sesimic design..Does anyone have experience on how to use Scia tools for this purpose (as for example in the program there is no module for shear wall design).

4. Ensure that you define the material properties correctly (e.g., concrete strength, reinforcement details) as these will influence the performance of your shear walls under seismic loads.
5. Use the load combinations defined by your local codes to apply seismic loads to your model
6. Linear Static Analysis (Equivalent Lateral Force Method): This is suitable for simpler structures.
7. Dynamic Analysis (Response Spectrum Method): For more complex structures or higher seismic zones, this method provides a more accurate representation of how the structure will behave during an earthquake.
8. After running your analyses, review the results carefully. Pay attention to displacement values, shear forces in walls, and moments at connections. These results will help you assess whether your shear walls meet code requirements.
9. Although there may not be a specific module for shear wall design in Scia Engineer, you can perform manual checks based on output data from your analysis.
