section cut in a part or assembly

How can I introduce a plane and view the section created by it in a PART or ASSEMBLY in CATIA-V5.

Hi,
Create your plane, open your section view in DMU Space analysis.
In the panel: Plan definition, select the second button at the bottom: Graphic positionning, and select your plane.

Make sure the toolbar with points,planes,lines are active. Switch on View/Toolbars/Reference Elements(extended)

Create a plane
Create sketch on plane
In sketch pick solid with "Intersect 3D Element"
Exit sketch
