What is the specific application of this 20" aluminum pipe and branch connection?

it was 24" aluminum spiral pipe the branche connection will be with 6" aluminum pipe. the branche connection that I saw on site was made with an excuded 24"pipe. I don't know if it's wright to make a direction tie-in rienforced.

Your post still seems rather confusing. A branch connection (6") to a main pipe run (24") can be done in an aluminum piping system. Regarding the design of the branch connection (attachment), this is dependent on application or service conditions.

What exactly are you questioning, the method of attachment?

If I understand your question you are talking about "collaring", mechanically forming a branch connection, with a machine like the T-Drill. These are acceptable within design limits of most pipe. We use this method for forming tees in SS and Titanium pump manifolds. At one time all Ti tees were mad this way.
