I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions about appling seismic loadings to substation rigid bus designs.
Does anyone know of a software package that may be available to study these loadings in conjunction with ice, wind, short circuit loadings?
thank you in advance.

See IEEE693-2005 is the latest IEEE Recommended Practice for
Seismic Design of Substations, a new version should be out in the next year or two that is much improved. Currently a web site is going up to update people on the progress of the standard. It can be found here, mceer.buffalo.edu/research/ieee/

Its in the early stages of development right now
