selection preferences NX7.5 1

I am running NX7.5 When I pick an object it defaults to picking the group an object is in rather than just the object.

I have changed a setting somewhere because I did not have this problem before but I cannot seem to find it. This has been this way for a long time now so I cannot go back and see what I have done.

Pretty sure the defaults for that is in the selection intent rules of customer defaults. even that far back in 7.5

There is also a "Selection Priority" option in the "Top border bar - Selection"
I think that was invisible by default (? )
Where "Shift-F" was the shortcut for "feature", Shift-G = Face etc.
