Sheet Metal stamping- coining and cookie bite 2

Hello to All,

I'm currently working on a progressive die design project.
And the customer has advised to add cookie bites and coining operation in the strip layout of given part (bracket).
So, can anyone please let me know what is cookie bite and coining and why/where it should be added?

But I searched for "cookie bite" on google too but got nothing. Please let me know if you have any idea about this Term.

A cookie bite is a small half-round notch when 2 trim steels come together, so you don't get a sharp step.

that was really helpful.
can you please explain to me that how to put coining punch between cookie bites especially on the top of bracket's face where flatness plays the vital role.
you can share any sample model or picture to understand its features and appearance.

We don't design them here, I learned about them when a production source needed to "fake" production parts.
They made us add the cookie bites to our laser trim programs.
