His question was how do you switch draftsight between paper space and model space like you do in AutoCAD. There were a few responses, but they didn't answer the question and the thread was closed.
I had the same problem and after 20 minutes of agonizing searching here's how to switch between model space and paper space in Draftsight:
First off, DraftSight uses the commands sheetmode and modelmode.
1 Press F2 to open the command dialog box (or goto the command line near the bottom of the screen).
2. Enter the command sheetmode or modelmode and draftsight will switch to that mode.
Why there isn't a button for this I have no idea, but that's the trick... Good luck!
