shell thickness

hi everybody, i have a problem in considering the shell thickness of an hollow cylinder: is the thickness internal or external with respect to the original 2D circle (before the extrusion)?

Can be whatever. The default is 'middle' I think. Look at the offset parameter in *shell section.
