Can anyone recommend literature or other resources for learning more about shunt capacitor bank design? I've seen a few books that touch on the subject, but it's very limited information.

Check with your local ABB representative to see if they have any upcoming seminars on capacitor banks. I went to one several years ago and found it quite useful.
