Hi,

I'd like to join the Siemens PLM Community.
It requires a Webkey Access Code (WAC).
How could I get it?

Thanks.

That is not true!

If you wish to do more than simply read the various forums on the Siemens PLM Community site, all you have to do is register on the site. This registration is FREE and is NOT limited to paying customers but is open to everyone. Granted, the registration process is going to need certain pieces of information from you, such as your name, email address, etc, but no one is denied access based on the information you supply us when you register, such as who you work for or where you're located. Now it is true that there are a set of 'Terms & Conditions' which you must agree to before you're given posting privileges and these privileges can be revoked if you violate the rules or abuse your privileges, no different than here on Eng-Tips.

Now for people who actually ARE customers of Siemens PLM Software, when you're issued your Webkey ID/Password, which allows you to gain access to our customer support sites where you can contact GTAC, open PR's and ER's, upload problems files, download new versions of Siemens PLM software, get uppdates and bug fixes, obtain updated license files, etc., you will automatically be registered on the Siemens PLM Community site and you'll have full access using that same Webkey ID/Password (perhaps this is where the confusion is). But as I stated before, even it you're NOT a customer, or at lesat you've never personally been issued an Webkey ID/Password (some organizations only wish to have a limited number of their personal being able to access the formal Siemens PLM support mechanisms), you can still register and get full privileges to the public portions of the Siemens PLM Community site.

Anyway, I hope this clarifies the issue.

Thank you all for the replies.
I am trying to compare the "eng-tips" with the "Siemens PLM Community"........
Are they much different?

Thanks
