Does anybody has an explanation on the outcome of SIF being different when calculating it using the FESIF module and nozzle pro module of PRG?
For example following input:
- Run 6" sch 40S
- Branch 2" sch 40S
- Branch angle 45°
Output:
Nozzle pro SIF for the run : ii=1.6 ; io=0.5 ; it=1.69 ; ia=1.76
FESIF SIF for the run : ii=1.21 ; io=0.5 ; it=1.27 ; ia=1.32
Nozzle pro SIF for the branch : ii=2.17 ; io=3.1 ; it=3.2 ; ia=3.9
FESIF SIF for the branch : ii=1.6 ; io=2.4 ; it=2.41 ; ia=3.4
Thanks in advance
