Simulated PWHT request on a buttweld fitting 1

We received this requirement for a fitting we have in stock
"Simulated PWHT in accordance with UCS-56 of ASME Section VII Div. 1 and SA-20"
Can this be done on a seamless buttweld fitting?

Yes. The fitting would receive heat treatment equivalent to the PWHT requirements in UCS-56 after the fitting is welded to another pressure part.

But, can the PWHT be done on the fitting alone?

PWHT is defined as after welding. The fitting will receive a tempering heat treatment at the UCS-56 PWHT temperature/time range, as a minimum.
