Okay, a real question this time.

Imported 2D views from AutoCAD, used 2D to 3D tools, and then regular 3D tools, to build up a solid model.
Which works fine, except I keep getting a warning, "Sketch text update failed.", in reference to one of the original imported sketches.

The sketch comprises 2D images of assorted nuts and bolts, and a few text objects, part of images of instrument faces, nameplates, stuff like that. Opening it typically makes the text within come up highlighted in blue.

Display/Delete Relations within the sketch comes up blank.
Repair Sketch reports no problems.

Selecting some of the text, RMB to Properties brings up a box that says "One or more entities used in this sketch text feature are no longer in the model."

... which is clear as mud to me.

Anyone got a clue?

That seems to have worked.
One line at a time.
In the case of text on an arc, one letter at a time.
But it got rid of the error message.

Thanks.

AutoCad uses its own fonts. There are a few of the more simpler acad fonts that can be transposed to Windows fonts(text)font I think is one.So when the font can't be transposed to windows fonts, it comes thru as lines and arcs. This is why the fonts don't show.Fool arround with the acad fonts and find out which ones will transpose and get your customers or you change fonts in the acad print that will transpose.
