Hi, I was wondering if there is any requirement of work surface slope as per OSHA/IBC/NFPA code requirements? I greatly appreciate if some one can provide me a reference so that I would like to find more information about it.

Requirement: I need to install an electrical control box on a slopped (about 3 degree) aisle in an warehouse (industrial) setting. I was wondering what safety code dictates requirements for this?

Thanks,
Pkpavv

The only provisions for a ramped walkway are in the International Building Code or the Life Safety Code and are limited to Means of Egress. I'm not aware of a provision for your described situation in the National Electrical Code but I will warn you I have limited experience with the NEC requirements for specific construction practices and requirements.
