I have 'inherited' a model of a nylon part, roughly 3" x .75" x .5". It has some faces that should be blended (see attachment). Cutting between each face would provide a Frankenstein-esque part. Most of the dimensions on the faces, radii and edge placement, are not critical.

I just want to blend the faces, and so far, none of the surface commands are getting the job done. I tried knitting the surfaces and it did not help. Any ideas?

I think IP prevents me from actually sharing the part. I'm working on it for a company and I do not know what their protocol is there.

I tried Delete and Patch and got the Rebuild Error, Face cannot be patched due to geometry condition. Delete and Fill actually looks like it might help somewhat though. Thanks for the lead.

Try searching for the SolidWorks "Atomic Bomb" method by Ed Eaton.

Basically it involved creating a solid which encased all the problem faces & edges, then deleting the faces of the solid to leave clean edges. The Surface-Fill tool was then used to create a smooth surface.
