Please, can you again use load combination 5 and 7 to determine the seismic bearing capacity soil under the footing? Do u have to define the load case as a nonlinear load cases? Or perhaps there are other methods.

Load Combination 5 & 7 of what code or standard?? Do you mean a concrete reinforced pad and pier or a reinforced pile?

Sorry I was referring to ASCE 7-10. General foundation design and checking of soil stress under the foundation.
