I use AutoCAD to draw 3D Mashed polygons which wouldb be later recognized in SAP2000 as SOLID FEM elements.

I wonder if there is any way to create 3D Mashed polygon from AutoCAD Solid object. It is much easier to draw solids then surfaces.

Do you mean "meshed" instead of "mashed"?

If you use Mechanical Desktop select from the surfaces pulldown menu 'from AutoCAD'. If you don't have Mechanical Desktop you can export a solid object with the 3DSOUT command and then import the file back in using the 3DSIN command. The object will come back as a polyface mesh. This may not be what exactly what you want though as a polyface mesh isn't the same as a polygon mesh.
