This question is regarding RBS moment connections.
According to publications, the tests for the prequalification of the RBS connection were done on specified max column depth. Lehigh University publication on RBS on deep columns somewhat covered the performance of the connection when used with deep columns. Does anyone know of any further guide or experience on how to deal with deep columns on RBS special moment frames? Is there any particular thing that should be made aware of when using a deeper column
Any help is appreciated.
