I want to make a torsion spring deflected by some angle (say 60 degrees) as the initial condition. I have no idea how to do it. Please help me.

I think you can use a Cbush with correct stiffness and then apply to the node a preload with the correct torque due to 60 deg of deflection. so your model will see the load applied plus the load due to the angular deflection of the spring. starting from the "0" configuration you will only see the preload, if the cbush turn in on direction your model will se the preload plus the load due to the Cbush stiffness, while if the model turn in the other direction you will se the initial load less the load due to the Cbush deflection. Cbush shall be with two coicident grid points and defined in a correct sys ref for the rotational stiffness you want to apply.
