I am using STAAD's wind load generator on a high-rise structure. The input is a pressure profile with different intensities. However, I do not want some joints to take lateral loads (bracing). STAAD has two items call EXPOSURE factors and EXCLUDE. Does anybody know the differences between these two?

EXCLUDE actually excludes all joints you don't want to be included in forming panels where the wind will be distributed. EXPOSURE allows you to specify how much intensity will be applied at a joint or level.
