I need help with clarification on Figure 100.1.2-3 in ASME B31.1-2018 pg 5.
I am bolting up a level radar transmitter past the double-block valves that come out of the steam drum on the boiler. I am being told due to the nipple we welded at the bottom of the housing had to be welded and tested according to ASME B31.1 due to it being bolted to the steam drum past the double-block valves. If I understand figure 100.1.2-3 that would be if this level bridal was to be welded in past the block vales. On the left side of the figure where it states multiple installations seems to be where this pertains to. If I read this correctly. See the pictures attached. I thank everyone in advance for all information.
