Hi All,

I am wondering is there much variation in tube (aluminised, stainless or mild steel) that is required for bending purposes?
Having trouble discovering if there is or not any difference as I am trying to source steel for bending but don't know if theres a specific makeup that the steel needs to be in order to bend properly.
Will be bending a variety of tube size 1.5" up to 4" and in stainless, aluminised and mild steel.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the mechanical properties of the tube material, OD and wall thickness are all essential variables for cold forming bends.
