I have a 1964 Engineering Stress memo Manual from Lockheed California that I used in the early 80's in rocket design. Should anyone be interested in this original, somewhat battered version, I would be happy to discuss it. I have retired and am cleaning out some of my old documentation. I want to find a good home for it.

Sounds interesting. Thanks for the offer.
Can you post a photo of the cover?

It is not permitted to post e-mail addresses on Eng-Tips. However, I have made it easy to guess my e-mail address on Hotmail if you look at my member name and use the simplest possible combination of those two pieces of information.

If someone wants it and is willing to scan it I would be interested in any data for SS or Ni alloys.
I would offer to scan it but my scanner leaves an artifact that is very annoying.

Be careful... Dave S appears-to-be a first-time poster to ET.

Seems odd to use a 1964 Lockheed stress manual for 'rocket design in the early 1980s.'

I have Acft design and stress manuals from several companies, [1970s, thru 1990s]… and have become exceptionally cautious about mentioning them... much less scanning/distributing them.

do you mean he may be a Lockheed "lurker", tyirng to lure us with fancy stress manuals and then WHAM! a suit for copyright infringement ! … cunning … something Baldrick would think up !??

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

May be he got a call from Lockheed Martin security asking why is trying to distribute what can be considered Export Controlled and Proprietary Information.

rb'57... briefly...

IF Dave S were a well-known/long and term-member of E-T, then I'd be relatively 'comfortable' with this issue. HE IS NOT... has never been an E-T member... unless there is a major glitch in 'Dave S's (Aerospace) Member Profile'. OR do you know something I don't... like prior membership... IE this individual under another nom de guerre?

NO... My cybersecurity antenna went-up-quivering... at the mention of even ancient[1960s]-data transfer...

I will continue this thought in a more-private forum... where I sometimes get in trouble... later today [soon].
