subproduct as one item no in BOM

Hi,

In the assembly i have used bearings(assembly made of parts)and this is patterned.In drafting BOM each part of bearing is appearing as a part and patterns also shows up as another part. I want show only one bearing with mentioning total quantities. how can i do this?
