Please where can i get materials on the use of centrifugal pumps (submersible)in oil production? Working on a project and really need to read it up including designs. Also how to choose the parameters like rph, wheel diameter, etc.

Centrilift is a Baker Hughes company and they have a handbook that contains electrical submersible pumps (ESP) compounds; nine steps to design an ESP system, etc, regards.

You can get some very basic info here:

In most cases I would recommend that you provide as much data to a manufacture and let them design the equipment. Warranty considerations after the installation are a lot less complicated if the manufacture is involved with or does the design.
