Sulfidation temperature for CS and SS 1

Gents,
Sulfidation occurs at high temperature. We currently have CS application of high sulphur content gas at temperature ~300C (H2S 2%, SO2 1%, CS2 0.1%) but low pressure (<40kPa).
I am looking at adding a fired heat exchanger to this stream, in which case, the heat exchanger tube temperature will be high.
My question is: what is the suitable temperature for use CS, SS, or special steel(what material?) in this kind of service environment?.

What is the tube metal temperature for the heat exchanger. For sulfidation resistance you will need a high chromium alloy steel. Tube metal temperature is extremely important and must be known for proper alloy selection (like 800H material or similar).

I am thinking of a radiant heater which could have a tube temperature as high as 1700 F. However, I am trying to lower this temperature down to a point so that the tube material is relatively easy to get.
Having said that, if I am going to use 316L, what is the max allowable T for this application?

I would not recommend 316L in this application. It will not last under these service conditions. You going to need higher chromium and nickel compositions, as well as strength.
 
In general you need high Cr and Ni with low Mo for S resistance. What size tubes in the heater? Can they be cast? There are some grades there that will do well.
Common SS doesn't stand a chance. I don't have my books at hand to look up how high 310 will handle.
