1. Are you in the USA?

2. Do you have a code or standard you have to meet?

3. Type of container, average quantity per container

many thanks

Explain why your question was posted in the "NFPA fire Code Issues" forum ?

Will you be using Sulfuric Acid in fire protection in some way ???

I want to establish the good practice and regulations regarding the storage of bulk sulfuric acid from an fire prevention & protection perspective

Thanks LCREP
is did reviewed FM 7-111F

they dont mention any special fire measure like sprinklers for bulk storage tanks ( i.e 50 m³)

perhaps not a prerequisite for sulfuric acid

my concern is overpressure and subsequent release in case of fire

I think section 2.4.5.2 regarding vacuum breakers, hydrogen gas detection and high level alarms are definitely things to consider. Again they are trying to limit a loss $$ by early intervention.

I take this is not in the USA?

Suggest get a Fire Protection Engineer that deals with Hazardous Materials

There is to many questions, to get a good answer here
