Hi,
i'm a mechanical engineer in need
of some practical reference material
on designing tanks for storing water
or wastewater.

Tanks will be rectangular and fabricated

of stainless steel 304 grade.

Any useful sources anyone can recommend
will assist greatly...thanks!

Your better off going with cylinrical tanks it's by far the most cost effective, because of how the bending stresses are eliminated. Similar to how a ballon works. Bolted cylindrical tanks are great because they can be shiped easily and constructed onsite quickly which adds to the cost effectiveness. Check with ASI @ 715-235-4225 and ask for Earl.
