If the MODs want to close or delete this thread I understand since its not a direct discussion of GD&T etc.
What I’m posting this for is to ask the community to consider sending tec-ease.com a polite email asking them to reverse their new policy requiring premium membership. Personally, I have no problem with their decision if that’s what they really want to do but I don’t see myself paying for a premium membership just to access GDT tips during the moment when I need to reference them. I think in the long run it will hurt their interests because new students and professionals will just move on to a local premium resource in their area, whereas they would otherwise remember a well used free resource for continuing training and recommendation’s to their employers training programs. There are lots of business models for companies to decide upon, but that’s just my opinion... its been a steady bookmark in my browser for years. I think it might make a difference if the community took a simple moment to send them an email, with so many links referenced in this forum it’s my impression it’s one of the most used free resources. Its been a valuable resource for me over the years, sad to see it go otherwise.
Dear Tec-ease.com
I am writing to ask you reverse your premium membership requirement for your GD&T tips. Your tips have been a valuable resource over the years. The free GDT tips were a huge resource for students and upcoming professionals that will remember where the tips came from when they decide to invest in further training and education.
