I am trying to add a temperature independent volumetric expansion into one of my current models. I want to characterize the effect of uranium growth, during irradiation uranium will expand and swell as a function of uranium burn-up and not temperature. I know the percent growth that will occur at the burn-ups that will be seen in the target. I need to apply a "load" of some type that will create a pre-defined volumetric expansion of a certain percentage. Does anyone know of a good way to do this?

Thanks
