Hi
is it possible to calculate "tensile effective plastic strain" according to plastic strain components?
there is a formula for increment in tensile effective plastic strain as below
i have tried to calculate equvalent plastic strain and tensile equivalent plastic strain according to this formula (ignoring the increment signs), the results are as below
my question is how is it possible that the tensile effective plastic strain calculated by abaqus is larger than the total equivalent plastic strain?
the behavior of the graphs looks similar though.
