Can someone suggest a really good testing laboratory that has a lot of experience working with carburized parts?

I have worked with a couple of local labs (Philly area) but I don't think they work with carburized parts much. At least I am not happy with their service.

The parts are small so the geographic location does not matter.

Many Thanks
Bill

I can highly recommend Climax Research Services as an A2LA accredited lab with a wide range of analytical capabilities. If you want to look at residual stresses this requires X-Ray Diffraction, with TEC and Proto both being very capable.

We've used Lab Testing Inc., in Hatfield PA. You might also try PMI in Bethlehem, PA for possible labs - they do heat treating and batch carburizing and may have an outside lab that they use.
