Hi,
I am trying to perform a transient analysis of a crankshaft, conrod and piston in order to understand the effects of the reciprocating mass in the conrod performance (with lightening purposes). The project is set up with a 200 steps of 0.0002 sec and a configuration of 0.00005 sub steps with a joint rotation of 9000 rpm at the crank.
As you can see, the results are far from conclusive. I have tried mesh improvement and lowering the substeps time without any improvement in the results.
Do you have any advice.
Best regards.
