Typical Elevated Concrete Slab Opening Infill Detail

Can anyone share a typical concrete slab opening (elevated reinforced concrete) detail? I would appreciate it. I have a project where the contractor wants to leave an opening on concrete transfer slab for crane tower and infill later. Thanks in advance.

I would put an embedded angle, channel, or plate all around at the edge of the slab to which the existing slab steel and future slab steel could be welded for the infill of the crane opening.

I tend to use couplers for the reinforcement...tension ferrules which leave the opening clear until infilled. The requirements depend on the location within the slab. If in a flat slab, try to put it in the M-M strip area. A "transfer slab" might complicate the situation. This occurs on almost every multi-storey building, so investigate what is the normal detail in your area.
