Does a proof tested part per UG-101 ever expire in the eyes of the ASME Code? Does it ever expire for Alberta CRN registration?

This would be a proof tested cover of a heat exchanger.

Thanks!

Proof tests for ASME don't expire per say but with each version of the code, you must document that your test is still valid under the new code. For my company this boils down to reviewing any changes to the code and recalculating allowable stresses, and recording that this review/calculation was performed.

I'm not sure what would be required for CRN.

Is anyone sure what is required for Alberta CRN? The answer seems to depend on the reviewer, wind direction, state of the relationship with client...etc...
