UG-36(c)(3)(-a)(-1)/(-2) "Small Opening" Exemption

Hi,

I would like to use UG-36(c)(3)(-a)(-1) and/or (-2) if I can in my design, but I am a bit confused about how to apply this to an opening for a non radial nozzle. If I have a head with a cutout for a nozzle that is non-radial and therefore produces a non-circular cutout in the head, how do I treat it relative to UG-36(c)(3)(-a)(-1) and/or (-2)?

See the definition of 'd' in UG-37..."chord length at mid surface thickness...."

Okay thank you. I am aware of that definition of 'd' for UG-37, but just wasn't 100% on whether that applied to UG-36.
