Unable to log in on XP using MD5

I am running MDT 5 on XP and have encountered a problem when try to log in on the PC. The problem seems to reveolve around some long X-Ref names stored in the following directory.

C:\Documents and Settings\user_profile\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD\Recent

Has anybody seen this before.
