Updating of splines drawn through curves from a file in NX9

I have a text file with a bunch of points in 3D space.

I can import these points into a model by doing File->Import->Points from File.

I them fit a spline through these points by going Insert->Curve->Fit Curve and then specifying the imported points in the 'Groups' tab in the Part Navigator.

Now I want to make alterations to or replace the text file with the Fit curve staying associative with the text file.

Is this at all possible?

Thank you in advance.

While the curves are associative to the points, the the points are NOT associative to the text file. However, since each set of points that were imported into the part file was created as a Group of points, there is a way to replace a previous set of points with a new set.

In that attached video I show how that's done using the following workflow:

I start with a Spline that has already been created from a set of imported points. I then import a second or new set of points. Now I edit the original curve by double-clicking and going into Edit With/Rollback and with the 'Specify Points' item selected in the Fit Curve dialog, I simply select the 'Deselect All' icon in the Selection Bar. Now while the 'Specify Points' item is still selected, I go over to the Part Navigator and in the 'Groups' section I select the newly imported set of points and hit OK.

Brilliant.

That was exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you Mr Baker (-:
