Hello,
This is very strange, I updated drivers for my graphic card NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 and when I start assy and open the subassy and go back to assy my graphic area goes blank.
Anybody has any ideas what it can be?
It worked before very well, updating drivers should not mess it up.
Thank you.

I don't think that is a SolidWorks supported video card. May be the problem.

Probably ctopher is rihgt, but you can also look at the website below;

There are lot of nVidia drivers. THere's information as well how to softmod your card so that it acts like a Quadro.

I did it with succes.

Drivers can mess up a lot of stuff that did work prior to a driver update. Espeically what your seeingYour card passes with limitations and strange things will happen with a card like that. SW shows the driver that works the best for your card and that's what you should use, unless you follow Bertus's link.

I read a recent article about PCI Express cards. There are some cheap CAD cards out there. These cards are going to take over AGP, because of the two way I/O.

If you have the cash look at Nvidia for the latest PCI Express cards.
