Hi.

I have 2 UPS´s heads (TrippLite´s Datacenter 5000) that just refuses to start when I conect it to my 220v L6 receptacle.

Both heads work fine in other instalations, but in this one in particular don´t work.

Of course, I had tested the receptacle and, as far as I can see, everything is fine. 2 110 phases and 1 neutral. The voltage doesnt drop when I try to start the UPS´s heads, but the indicators of the heads don´t even light (it is supposed to ligh on when you plug the cable to the AC line).

Do you have any idea of why is this happening?

Thanks a lot.

i suggest you get more info on the receptacle where the UPS worked....do some voltage measurement..i believe you are using a 220v supply so do a line to line, lines to neutral, line to earth and neutral to earth...record all your readings and compare this readings to receptacle where the UPS doesnt work...i dont' see any reason why it shoudnt work..

1. The L6 receptical must be 30 amps
2. Make sure the units are locked in to each other(control and battery) or they will not start and will not show any LED indication
