use stacked gasket in cable gland to fill gap

Hallo,
is allowed to installed two or more gasket (also know as Entry Thread Sealing Washers) in one single cable gland if the thread is too long?
The problem is that the thread is that long that the gland cannot be screwed fully into the transmitter head. There is a gap of around 2-3 mm what could be filled if we install 2 gasket instead of only one.
I read the ATEX standards but could not find any paragraph what says yes or no.

Can you find one gasket that has the thickness equivalent of two gaskets?
or is the thickness standardized?

 
not yet it seems that 2 mm is common standard.

May you now a manufacture who offers thicker gaskets?
