Using EN flanges in B31.3 piping - any experience

Im developing a spec where EN 1092-1 flanges (EN 10222-2 P245GH [1.0352]) have to be used in a B31.3 piping system.
Im using B31.3 304.7.2(a) to justify the use of EN 1092-1 flanges, as this standard is known for EN 13480 piping.

The flanges have a known and published rating, which covers part of it's p,T-rating. The wall thickness requirement also needs to be done to cover the 2nd part of the p,T-rating.
I check this using eq (3a) from 304.1.2. Since im dealing with a non-ASTM material spec, stress values have to be determined, which is done based on B31.3 302.3.2 (d).
Now here's the problem;

Where to find tensile strength values at temperature for P245GH flanges in EN 10222-2:2000? Table 2 only shows them for room temperature, whereas table 3 provides yield strength properties (Rp0,2) at temperature.
Any knows how to determine or get these?

Because it's a european flange standard, which comes in european materials. How can the flange standard (EN 1092-1) otherwise be satisfied?
 
Im not using cast cats iron flanges (EN 1092-2), however I'm not sure if you've understood my real question.
For B31.3 work its not sufficient to only look at the p,T-rating. Read my OP.
 
I appreciate your input and contribution denlow60, but I think you misunderstood my OP.
With determining, I mean calculating, not validating by experimental means, or testing.
Im looking for values of tensile strength at temperature.

PS: please note that NEN in NEN-EN-ISO standards apply to EN-ISO standards for the Dutch market.
 
As tensile strength at T is not required for strength calculations with this material according to EN 13480 nor EN 13455 it is not given in the material standards.


a) I'm unfamiliar with B31.3 - what is the basis for allowable stress of a material not listed in Appendices? Is tensile at T really required?
b) Is it possible to calculate the design stress acc to EN 13480 (or similar) under B31.3?
c) Purchase the material for the flange with option for tensile test at elevated temperature

I presume you are designing for use in the European Community. Why should you recalculate EN flanges according to ASME? The EN 1092-1 ad EN 10222-2 are harmonized standards and therefor have a presumption to comply with the PED. See annex ZA.

There are no tensile stresses at elevated temperatures available. I think one of the few EN standards that shows these tensile strength at elevated temperature is EN 10028 (plate) for stainless steels.
