Hi, I'd like to use a formula to determine how much natural gas can be supplied through a gas pipeline using variables such as pressure differential, pipe diameter, resistance ans specific gravity.

I am not exactly sure which parameters are needed or what formula to use.

So, my first question is:
What parameters are needed to determine the volume of natural gas that can be supplied though a gas utility’s pipeline?

Type “natural gas pipeline flow rate calculator” into Google. Sheesh.

Generally speaking, all the parameters you mentioned play a role in flow through a pipe. To start from a pseudo-fundamental level to understand the amount each plays a role, look up "Darcy-Weisbach equation".
