Does anyone know what thermoplastics I should consider to weld onto fabrics using a hand held ultra sound welder at 20khz-40khz low amplitude?

I've heard two different answers for polyuretahne film adn am unsure about this material.

Ultrasonic welding of plastics never worked worth a crap for me.

Okay, maybe I was holding my tongue wrong, but I did _everything_ the ultrasonic vendors said to do, and it still didn't meet my expectations.
