V4 Drawing Visibility Problem

Recently while working in V4, I was creating views from a 3D model. Creating one view is no problem, when I create a second view, I cannot see all the entities in the view. If I delete the first view, everything shows up in the second view I created. Is this just a graphics card issue with not enough ram, or is there a setting somewhere for Catia and the graphics display that I can modify? I've used Catia on and off for about 10 years now and don't recall ever running into this problem before. Any help would be much appreciated.

bradmac65,
I use to have the same problem with very large catia assemblies. I did turn on the virtual window from the F4 function and this helped some. Very large models will make other views seem to disappear. If you zoom out and then re-buffer you should be able to see the views you have created. This does makes manipulation harder. Try deleting all the faces and surfaces if they are not needed. The 2D views are reading all the 3D data. Hope this helps

dwoody1,

The files I've been using haven't been very big - less than 10 meg, typically around 2 meg or so - and there aren't any faces or surfaces, strictly solids. As for the F4 function, I must admit complete ignorance as to what this is, I'm thinking it may be a module we don't have - can you elaborate?

DUH! F4 - It's been a while since I used V4 and I just figured that one out - never mind. Virtual window is on by default on our system.
