Folks,
I have an application where I want to seal a vacuum between to pipes. One pipe is stationary. The other fits on (or within) the first. It rotates tru 360deg and also moves about 15mm or so in the length direction over the other.
The vacuum is only about 800mBar, so a reasonable seal will suffice. It is also important to minimise the friction in the rotary direction.
i was thinking along the lines of a bellows type seal with a rotary vacuum seal attached. OD of the pipes is about 40mm.
Where could I could source this?
Any other ideas welcome also.
Cheers,
