Hello
i want to connect 2 helix using third one. it must be one turn and be tangent to both red and blue helix curves
i tried a few hours and applied trigonometric functions but didn't find solution
is it possible to design such helix in between?

Am I missing something here or ?
This seems like an extremely complicated method to do this helix.
- You do know that you can define a law curve ( A helix) using a "graph" for any direction, ?
In this case Z, "by law curve", and that graph is exactly the sketch i see in that last (NX) image.
The "Law curve option" is the same in the Helix and other features in NX.
Then you can skip all that math and instead draw a graph on how you would like one single feature do the entire helix.

Should i create an example ?

Regards,
Tomas

Second note, this sketch is not exactly the entire helix,
The model does ~5/8 of a revolution in flat state ( both start and end) before it starts to "climb".
The flat state is missing in the sketch. Should have had a horizontal line at both ends.

Regards, Tomas

Hi Tomas and thank you.

this helix was built in nx6 before some years and I post it here according the
question of this thread. (all in math)

Above I also posted an example of by law helix.

and this is a 4 helix at once.

Thank you again.
