Hello
I don't know if this is the right place to post this question .so if I'm wrong tell me and I'll delete it.

I have a question regarding vertical construction joint location in reinforced concrete walls.

A building has rc walls on strip foundation surrounding the building, these walls are designed to carry the S.O.G.
At each corner there are shear walls that will go up 2 floors (all of them have the same reinforcement and have the same fc'.

For formwork limitations a construction joint is placed in the shear wall.

Is that viable or not ?
Thanks in advance

If you detail it properly, I would say yes. The detailing would depend on the design assumptions, etc.
