vs4 vertical pump

hi,
i have problem with vs4 vertical pump ,found high run out for the shaft so dismantle then straighten the shaft till run out reach 0.05,assembly and mechanically run test,after removing pump from test bed and measure run out for pump hup found it 0.16mm

That shaft is probably supported by a simple bushing just below the stuffing box. Depending on the shaft size, the clearance in that bushing could be 0.15 mm or more. This could be interpreted as run out if the mechanic is not very careful about how he takes the reading.

Check the shaft hub too, if it is round or not.
